Tomas

The Tomas is the product of 48-hour Global Game Jam hold by CIGA, in which I took the part of scripts for the boss and some shaders. 

The competition gave the theme in which a man was holding a train, so we made a game in which trains are fighting for themselves against mankind. The game is to control the train to attack with the carriages and to defeat the man. When the carriage hits the boss, it will be apart and needs to be collected, which is a idea we get from Titan Souls. To reduce the difficulty, carriages will move to the train automatically. The fast boost of the velocity and the slow rotation of the direction give the game a smooth drifting control and are very suitable to the way we attack. One-life mode and the strict way to attack also make the game a challenging one, while the drifting control makes it enjoying.
